The Top 10 TV Bars

10. Enterprise D’s Ten-Forward,
Star Trek The Next Generation

So there’s this bar and it’s on this ship. In space. And it’s 353 years in the future. And Whoopi Goldberg is the bartender. Doesn’t get much cooler than that.

9. Orlando’s Gentleman Club, The Wire

Owned by Stringer and Avon and fronted by Orlando, this Baltimore club might be TV’s grittiest bar.

8. The Bada Bing!, The Sopranos

The Bing is where where Tony, the crew, and their patrons took care of all kinds of business.

7. Moe’s, The Simpsons

Without this classic dive, Barney wouldn’t have a place to rest his weary head, and Oliver Clothesoff would be forever missing.

6. The Brick Tavern, Northern Exposure

It’s a place for Shelley’s sing-alongs and philosophical discussions about the lives of frogs. Without it, the town of Cicely would undoubtedly be even colder.

5. Regatta Bar, Ally McBeal

In addition to dancing babies, Ally McBeal featured many amazing musical acts—and they all performed at the local Regatta Bar. I can’t think of a better place to shake it with Barry White after a day spent fighting legal battles and dealing with unisex bathrooms. (Apologies for the German-dubbed video, it was all we could find!)

4. Fangtasia, True Blood

This damn sexy lounge serves thirsty fangs and fangbangers alike.

3. Paddy’s Pub, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Paddy’s has been a gay bar, an underage drinking spot, and a hostage-situation HQ. It was the site of Dennis and Charlie’s “Dayman” debut. And it’s always at the center of the It’s Always Sunny‘s gang’s hijinks. Happy St. Patrick’s day, bitches!

2. MacLaren’s, How I Met Your Mother

The HIMYM crew’s regular hangout, MacLaren’s is the scene of many memorable high-fives… and a Barney Stinson pick-up line testing site.

1. Cheers, Cheers

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Cheers is the only TV show to ever have just one set. And that set is a bar.
